There’s a new Tetris game on Android which lets you party with the blocks. Well, not quite literally. But the devs and publishers claim that it is partying of some kind. Tetris Block Party is the new game with a vibrant take on the classic game.
Tetris Block Party is not out in all regions. It has soft-launched in Brazil, Mexico, India and the Philippines. Published by Playstudios who have dropped games like Solitaire and myVegas Bingo. This is their third Tetris game after Tetris and Tetris Block Puzzle.
How Is Tetris Block Party Different from the Usual?
Instead of the frantic race to clear lines before the screen fills up, this version lets you drag and drop pieces onto a static board. So, that turns classic Tetris into more of a puzzle game than a reflex challenge.
There’s a big focus on multiplayer in Tetris Block Party. So, there are leaderboards and PvP duels. You even have the ability to mess with your friends’ bases. Yep, while they’re busy perfecting the setup, you can just swoop in and ruin it (now, that’s a party)!
If you’re more of a solo player, there’s an offline mode and daily challenges to keep you occupied. This mode lets you keep the block-stacking fun going even when you’re off the grid. On that note, catch a glimpse of the game right below.

Tetris Block Party has bright, cartoony visuals and oddly expressive, almost personality-filled blocks. It is what makes the game unique and not as monotonous as regular Tetris. If you want to try something simple but new, you can give it a go.
