Pokémon GO Festival of Colors is making a grand return for 2025. From March 13th to March 17th, trainers worldwide will be treated to a burst of vibrant Pokémon spawns and special bonuses. Keep reading to find out all about it.

Celebrate the Festival of Colors with Pokémon GO

Firstly, keep your eyes peeled when strolling past PokéStops because there’s a little celebratory surprise waiting to brighten your day. Lure Modules will keep buzzing for three hours, so your favourite spots will be Pokémon hotspots for longer than usual.

If you’re trying to track down the flashy fish Bruxish, fire up some Incense because it’s showing up more often with it. The Incense lasts for two hours except for Daily Adventure Incense. You can also snap some pics each day for a surprise guest appearance and encounter a Shiny Smeargle sneaking into your snapshots.

Floral Flabébé is making a grand entrance in different colours based on your region. Red Flower Flabébé is hanging out in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, while Blue Flower Flabébé can be found in the Asia-Pacific region.

If you’re in the Americas, you’ll spot Yellow Flower Flabébé. While White Flower and Orange Flower Flabébé could pop up anywhere. Alongside the floral friends, expect to see Drowzee, Magikarp, Natu, Aipom, Meditite and Dwebble out and about.

Meanwhile, Mega Raids are bringing in Mega Swampert during Pokémon GO Festival of Colors. And Field Research tasks have event-themed rewards that include Stardust and encounters with some of the special Pokémon making appearances.

Special Bonuses for Holi Players

The Festival of Colors celebrates Holi, the Festival of Colours in India, so Pokémon GO has special bonus just for Trainers in India. If you’re in India, you can find regional exclusives, like branching Timed Research, one-star raids featuring Pikachu donning a kurta and an extra Candy for catching Pokémon in raids.
