A new mobile game called Prison Gang Wars is out on Android and iOS. It’s published by Black Halo Games and the name pretty much gives away what you’re in for. The devs have ‘probably’ been inspired by GTA while making the game. Why? Keep reading to find out.

How Scary Are Prison Gang Wars?

In the game, the wars are pretty wild. The game starts when you are thrown into prison. There are other prisoners who have been part of mafia hits, big heists and cartel-level stuff. And now you’re locked up with every type of street gangster imaginable.

Your job in Prison Gang Wars is to survive all of it and run the place. Even though you start out as just another inmate, you build up your reputation little by little.

You hustle, smuggle in contraband, bribe the right guards, fight when you have to, and make phone calls when things need to get done.

You’re constantly making choices that shape your crew and your standing inside. Every tiny thing matters, from who you talk to, what you hide, and even how you manage your own crew.

The prison in Prison Gang Wars is split into sections, and each one is already under someone’s control. Every gang has their own style, name, look and personality.

Some are better at smuggling while others have the guards in their pockets. And a few just want to throw down. When you try to take over new parts of the prison, you’re stepping on other gangs’ turf.

How’s the Combat?

Combat is turn-based and uses a dice roll system. So, training your gang properly is key in Prison Gang Wars. It’s all about balancing negotiation, bribing, stashing and occasionally cracking a few skulls when diplomacy fails.

On that note, take a look at the game below.

There are tons of underground business going on in Prison Gang Wars. You can make shady deals with guards, rival gangs or even people outside the prison walls. After all, more influence means more money, materials, tools and control.

At the end of the day, only one gang can run the yard. If you want to be a part of it, check out the game from the Google Play Store.
