Since it originally launched on PC and Mac back in March of last year, Blizzard’s fantasy-themed digital collectible card game, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, has amassed a rather large community of players around the world that encompasses everyone from casual players to professional gamers competing in large tournaments for real cash prizes. The game is also continuing to reach new audiences now that it has hit new platforms including Android tablets like the NVIDIA Shield at first, before finally being updated to include Android phones as well.
There are already well over 25 million registered Hearthstone players around the globe. Of course, one of the biggest contributing factors to Hearthstone’s tremendous growth in a little over a year is its active community of veteran players, many of who broadcast their games live on Twitch.
In the video above, NVIDIA chats with several of the more celebrated professional Hearthstone players who share their tips and secrets to things like building a killer deck in the game and ultimately defeating your opponent. This new video was created as part of NVIDIA’s Hearthstone Pro/Am international tournament, which we reported on back in the beginning of March 2015, where players are able to compete for a chance to win part of a $25,000 prize pool and qualification points for the Hearthstone World Championship.
