PUBG Mobile, the popular battle royale forerunner to Fortnite, is set to run at 90 frames per second on a range of flagship OnePlus smartphones.
The models that will play host to this breathtaking feat of graphical smoothness include the OnePlus 8 Series, the OnePlus 7T, and OnePlus 7 Pro. After a month of exclusivity, 90 fps will be possible on any smartphone powerful enough.
In case you’re not up on your technical lingo, 90 frames per second is a lot, resulting in uncannily fluid on-screen movement. All the better to see your enemies just as they’re about to shoot you in the face.
PUBG Mobile, by the way, sees 100 players parachuting onto an island and killing each other until only one player remains. That player is the winner.
The OnePlus exclusivity period comes to an end on September the 6th, so if you happen not to one a OnePlus handset you’ve only got a few weeks to hang on.
