PushSB is a new skateboarding sim on Android. It’s from a solo indie developer, surfing_pools, and it’s his first game. After a few years of working on the game, he has dropped the game officially on mobile.
Does PushSB offer anything new?
For starters, PushSB opts for precision swipe controls. So, every flip trick, grind, manual and power slide is pulled off with an actual gesture instead of a random tap.
The dev has added great attention to physical detail. It’s a sim that focuses on the method behind each virtual ollie or kickflip.
Visually, there’s nothing particularly groundbreaking about PushSB. The graphics lean into the low-poly style with fluid animations that plenty of indie games tend to use.
There are a few available maps in the game. They are explorable and come with different lines and hidden spots to uncover.

Developer surfing_pools has added a new set of maps and some mechanic tweaks in the most recent update. However, you should be more excited to know what is coming next in the game.
An online multiplayer mode is in the works, making it possible to directly compete against other players and see who actually has the trick timing down.
Then, he’s also working to add a new range of in-game challenges. There’s even a character customisation system in active development that will introduce a selection of outfits, skateboards and accessories.
