Haiku Games has a long roster of puzzle games that have stories and mysteries. Their latest game on Android, Puzzletown Mysteries, is no different. Haiku Games’ Adventure Escape series has 13 games till now while their other popular series is the Solve It games.
What’s Puzzletown Mysteries About?
It’s a classic puzzle with a light detective storyline where you’ll be doing a bit of sliding blocks around or spotting patterns. You help out two investigators, Lana and Barry, as they dig into some mysteries.
The mysteries are low-stakes but intriguing small-town ones, like missing cats, questionable balcony accidents and other whodunnit stuff. There are over 400 puzzles with a lot of variety. You’ll be sorting evidence, merging clues and hunting for hidden objects.
Each case kicks off with a hidden object scavenger hunt. Once you spot all the items, you unlock clues and move deeper into the investigation. You keep solving the bite-sized games, earning stars, and using them to push the case forward.
It Looks Good Too
The game actually soft-launched a couple of weeks ago in a few regions. Now, with the global launch today, the latest update drops more tag team levels, a visual refresh for Main Street and a new Gold Pass.
