Ratrod Studios is gearing up to release the next installment into their Skateboard Party series

Fans of Ratrod Studios’ skateboarding game franchise called Skateboard Party will be happy to know that there is a new installment into the franchise arriving early next month. This new game, appropriately named Skateboard Party 3, will feature Greg Lutzka as the main spokesperson for this installment.

For those of you not familiar with these games, Skateboard Party has players picking their skater, board, and other accessories before heading out into the world to skateboard across various locations (8 in total to start at launch) in an attempt to earn as many points as possible. This is accomplished by doing a variety of tricks, sometimes chaining them together. As you progress further into the game, you’ll be able to learn new tricks, buy different decks, wheels, and other gear (including clothing for your skater).

Skateboard Party 3 Features:

– Supports all the latest generation devices and optimized for high resolution displays.
– New fully customizable control system. Players can adjust everything!
– Learn over 40 unique tricks and create hundreds of combinations.
– Massive skateboard locations to ride including the OC Ramps Skatepark, Venice Beach, Chinatown, San Francisco, Moscow, a Nature Museum, drainage ditch and Medieval Plaza featuring a mega ramp.
– Players can play often to gain experience and upgrade their skater’s attributes.
– Ability to purchase experience points or special items using in-app purchases.
– Record and share skate sessions on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
– Players are able to listen to songs from their own music library.

This third installment is also a lot bigger in terms of content and customization. The soundtrack is also a lot bigger as well, featuring songs from bands such as Chaos Delivery Machine, We Outspoken, Voice of Addiction, Templeton Pek, Melodic in Fusion, and more. You will also be able to play with, or against, friends or random people through online multiplayer. Lastly, you’ll be able to record your gameplay and upload it to YouTube if you’re into sharing.

When Skateboard Party 3 gets released it will be available off of both Google Play and Amazon’s Appstore. Price-wise, you’ll be looking to spend $1.99 to pick up a copy, and there will be optional IAPs for extra XP or special items should you want to go that route. Until the release, you can check out the game’s trailer below.
