REDMAGIC Tech Conference Showcases Amazing All New Thermal Tech

REDMAGIC are usually at the forefront of the latest smartphone technology, and it proved this yet again during a recent tech conference held in Shenzhen, China.

There it demonstrated the many uses of its new innovative thermal technology during a tech conference held in Shenzhen, China.

But what does this mean for you? Read on to find out…

Liquid-Cooling

REDMAGIC announced its work on a mass-produced liquid cooling system for its range of smartphones and tablets. It’s taken inspiration from AI Liquid-cooling Servers, and it’s only good news for you as a smartphone user.

This is because the tech allows REDMAGIC devices to maintain a high level of performance between the temperatures of -40°C and 70°C.

So the fluorinated core, placed in all devices, can help keep gaming comfortable and prevents REDMAGIC devices from overheating – regardless of the environment, from icy cold tundras to mirage inducing deserts. If you, er, ever happen to be in such places.

Turbo Fan 4.0

Alongside the cooling liquid tech there was more REDMAGIC revealed – primarily the Turbo Fan 4.0 technology.

This is air cooling technology which helps distribute heat by the fan spinning up to 24,000 RPM. So you can basically use the device consistently without having to worry about it overheating.

There are three independent core air-coolers – independent, channel-based, and composite. Together they help keep the system cool regardless of what you’re putting the device through.

What else?

REDMAGIC systems will also now offer IPX8-rated dust and water resistance, meaning the devices can survive a range of conditions wherever you’re based in the world.

The upcoming REDMAGIC Pro 11 was also shown, boasting a fifth-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform. The cooling tech also means this is arguably the most reliable and best choice for mobile gamers out there right now.

You can expect a title like Wuthering Waves to run at 90 FPS for up to 120 minutes for example, and that’s under ultra-high graphics settings. The device also supports over 200 popular titles specifically optimized for 144 Hz frame rates and 2K resolution.

Anything else?

The REDMAGIC Astra Gaming Tablet was also discussed, and how its setting new standards for mobile gaming performance. This is due to its upgraded engine – one that allows players to enjoy ultra-smooth gameplay at 165Hz alongside enhanced textures and environmental lighting.

Chen Jin, head of Tencent’s K1 CrossFire product operations, also discussed during the conference how REDMAGIC devices are leading the way when it comes to competitive esports. They have cut down significantly on issues like abnormal exits, the need for spare devices during tournaments, and mid-match disconnects.

REDMAGIC esports phones have subsequently become the official devices for six major esports leagues across China. The leagues covered include Call of Duty Mobile Masters, CrossFire Mobile Pro League, Arena Breakout Pioneer Cup, QQ Speed Mobile S League, League of Legends Mobile Super League, and Dawn Heroes Team Tournament.
