Aniplex has finally revealed the release date for Resident Evil Survival Unit, their mobile strategy game co-developed with JOYCITY Corporation. They had opened the pre-registration for the game on mobile in July this year.
Pre-registration for the game has already crossed 2 million across multiple regions including Japan, Korea, North America, Europe, and Asia. It’s combining App Store pre-orders with Google Play sign-ups.
So, what’s the release date of Resident Evil Survival Unit?
The game will be released globally on November 18th, 2025. It will arrive in 151 countries and regions. But regions such as Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, Brunei, and Mongolia will get it a little later, in early 2026.
Resident Evil Survival Unit brings a new take on Capcom’s long-running horror franchise. Rather than focusing solely on survival horror, it challenges players to think tactically, manage limited resources, and make quick battlefield decisions in the middle of an outbreak. Also, it’s designed specifically for mobile.
The game places you in the ruins of a collapsing city, where an unknown infection has left only a few survivors. As you move across the map, you’ll encounter other survivor groups and face the choice of forming alliances or engaging in conflict.
Your mission is to rebuild from nothing, starting from an abandoned mansion and gradually expanding it into a fortified base. In the game, you’ll meet iconic characters such as Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Jill Valentine.
