Bluepoch Games went live with a special anniversary stream for Reverse: 1999. They revealed what’s coming in Version 2.8 with delicate L2D chibi models of the new units. Titled Paradise Regained, the update marks the 2nd anniversary for Reverse: 1999.
The events stretch across late September and October
Paradise Regained will see the addition of four new 6-star characters to Reverse: 1999. Nautika headlines the Anniversary Limited Banner called The Myth at Her Fingertips. She’s available with two forms, each having different skills.
Alongside her, logging in during the anniversary will get you Urich for free. First introduced in version 1.9, he is the leader of the Laplace cryptography team and an awakened ferrofluid housed in a glass tank.
Phase 2 introduces Moldir, a lieutenant from the Former Zeno Sentinel Unit. She’s a soldier torn between her duty and her personal feelings, while gazing at enemy ships on the horizon. Take a look at the preview video here.

Apart from them, two free 5-star characters also join the roster. Matilda will be available through simple logins during Version 2.8. Meanwhile, Buddy Fairchild, a squirrel companion will be obtainable in the Against the Flood event.
Tons of Reverse: 1999 anniversary rewards in Paradise Regained
Every player can get 30 free summons, while new players can rack up as many as 100 summons plus a selectable 6-star. A free 6-star portrait from the standard pool is also up for grabs, along with a selectable 6-star through the Timely Reinforcements event from Version 2.7.
Meanwhile, there are multiple new gameplay modes. Pre-Storm Protocol runs from September 19th to October 30th, 2025. It plays like an exploration survival challenge where you must gather resources, fend off enemies, and avoid contamination from Storm Syndrome.
Another returning mode is Critter Crash, with new content between September 25th and October 30th, 2025. To try out all the new modes and events, get the game from the Google Play Store.
