The latest instalment of the SaGa series has finally dropped today. SaGa Emerald Beyond is up for grabs on Android and iOS along with Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and 4 and PC. The Story In SaGa Emerald Beyond
Don your detective hat and uncover why Capitol City’s president narrowly escaped a deadly date with destiny. You get six heroes and explore 17 different worlds. Each one has its secrets, events and paths to uncover. The story unfolds in a realm where multiple worlds exist, connected by the Beyond. And glowing lines called Emerald Waves lead to different quests.
The six heroes you’ll meet are Tsunanori Mido, Ameya Aisling, Siugnas, Diva No. 5, Bonnie Blair and Formina Franklyn. Mido is a magically gifted young man who’s set to restore the balance between worlds. Ameya is a witch-in-training who lost her magic and aims to get it back. Siugnas is a vampire king who wants his realm back from a usurper.
Diva No. 5 is a songstress robot who loses her voice and original body. Bonnie is an ex-marine while Formina is a sharpshooter. Together as rookie police officers, they’re investigating an assassination attempt. With all these unique characters, SaGa Emerald Beyond is a journey filled with magic and mystery.
How’s The Game?
SaGa Emerald Beyond has a turn-based combat system. Your party pulls actions from a shared resource called BP. You get to play with Martial Arts and Conditional Techs and deadly dual-wield weapons. Why don’t you take a look at the latest trailer they dropped?
It’s a pretty special year for SaGa as they’re hitting their 35th. The devs started developing SaGa Emerald Beyond just after wrapping up SaGa: Scarlet Grace in 2017. This game is now joining a killer lineup including Romancing SaGa and others.
