Sega has released another addition from their Sonic franchise onto Android and this time it is Sonic The Hedgehog 2. This new version of the game is full remastered for mobile devices so both the visuals and controls have been redone to perform rather nicely on your Android devices of choice.
This also happens to be the first title in the series that feature Sonic’s little buddy Tails. Like all Sonic the Hedgehog games, you’ll be working your way through levels, avoiding hazards and taking out enemies in order to defeat Dr. Eggman.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 content:
– Race as Sonic and Tails through high speed environments such as Casino Night and Chemical Plant. Destroy Dr. Eggman in epic boss battles or aim for the high score in Sonic 2’s iconic half pipe Special Stage.
– An all new ‘Boss Attack mode’ challenges the player to defeat all of the game’s devious bosses in one run. Additionally choose to play the game as Knuckles in addition to Sonic and Tails.
– For the first time ever explore the mysterious Hidden Palace Zone. These lost levels feature undiscovered enemies, new hazards and a climatic showdown with Dr. Eggman.
While the original game is here in full, this version of Sonic the Hedgehog also has exclusive new content to play through as well including a new Boss Attack mode. You’ll be trying to defeat all the bosses in the game in a single run in this new game mode.
