Shiro’s Kitchen Cruise is a new cooking sim from Omoté Studios. Yes, it’s the same Omoté (Asia Pacific) Group that’s a well-known food and beverage service in Singapore. They’re popular for their modern Japanese dining restaurants across Singapore.

In Shiro’s Kitchen Cruise, you’ll work with over 80 recipes inspired by real Japanese cuisine. They’re real recipes created by the team behind Omoté Singapore. And if you visit their restaurant in person, you can even try some of the meals you cooked in-game.

It’s cute and cosy

You step into the life of Shiro, a city bear who suddenly inherits an old ship from Grandpa. Instead of sailing off into retirement, Shiro decides to turn the rusty vessel into a floating restaurant cruising the ocean.

Exploration is a big part of the game. There are 12 islands full of special ingredients, and that includes Fuji San and Benji Ranch. You’ll find from rare veggies to freshly caught seafood there.

After gathering the supplies, you’ll recruit a crew of adorable bear staff. You’ll hire friendly servers like Gus, Benny Bearbucks and more. As you level them up, they’ll become faster and better at serving the hungry sea travellers.

You can customise your ship with eight different furniture styles and unlock outfits for your crew through gachapon. You can also dive into mini-games that earn you shells and extra ingredients.

You’ll also meet a bunch of unique customers. When customers arrive, small bubbles appear over their heads showing dishes they’re craving. Some customers are sweet, while some might be a bit too unruly and could mess with your ratings. So, you’ll have to keep a close eye on the dining room.

From traditional to playful fusion dishes, the game lets you explore Japanese cuisine like no other. You’ll be cooking Power Wasabi, Garlicky Truffle Chirashi, Sanshoku, Beef Tataki, Chilli Crab, Unagi Kabayaki and even Uni Martini.
