Just after stepping into 2026, Sky: Children of Light has dropped a new update which is Update 32.0. The highlight of this update is Sky: Children of Light’s AR Camera feature. It has gone live today and so has a couple of other notable additions. Keep reading to find out all about it.

Kicking off 2026 with exciting new features!

Sky: Children of Light’s AR Camera feature is now available on mobile devices. It allows you to project elements of Sky into real-world environments. You start by printing the linked image, then placing it on a chosen surface, and then selecting the AR Camera.

The feature lets you capture scenes that blend the game’s visuals with their surroundings. It gives a new way to capture memorable moments outside of normal in-game screenshots, turning the game’s aesthetic into a tangible experience beyond the game client.

Update 32.0 also adds Map Anywhere, expanding how you can view and navigate the world. Traditionally, players had to find and unlock map points across realms to view that region’s layout. With Map Anywhere, you can access the world map from any location, rather than only at specific map shrines.

You can pull up a bird’s-eye view of the Sky universe at will. It makes it easier to orient oneself, find quest locations, or remember where spirits and objectives are without backtracking to a shrine. It’s really handy, especially for trips through vast areas or revisiting daily quests and event tasks.

Apart from Sky: Children of Light’s AR Camera, there’s new seasonal content as well

The Season of Lightmen arrives soon. It begins on January 16th. If you’ve already unlocked the Vault of Knowledge, you’ll be able to team up with friends to assist the season’s spirits. The activity centres on restoring fractured lanterns scattered throughout the Vault.

Meanwhile, Traveling Spirits will continue their regular appearances throughout January. The visits are scheduled for January 1st-4th, January 15th-18th, and January 29th-February 1st. So, do check them out by grabbing the game from the Google Play Store.
