Noodlecake and Big Green Pillow Studio just dropped Slash Quest on Android, an adventure puzzler that’s as adorable as it gets. Originally available only on Apple Arcade, it’s now available for all Android users. It’ll be relaunched on iOS in a few weeks (shedding its Apple Arcade exclusivity). Apparently, a Steam version is on the way too.
So, What’s Slash Quest About?
In the game, you chill in a dungeon-crawler world and help a chatty sword get back to its Queen. The landscapes and characters are popping with colour. Along this journey, you’ll be squaring off against some wild creatures, including taking on giant snakes and sneaky traps.
You face all of these challenges with a sword that’s got more personality than most NPCs. Okay, so maybe following a sword’s advice isn’t your usual play. But this blade’s got charm! The sword also comes with tons of upgrades. You get 12 levels to work with, sprucing up that sword with all kinds of skills.
From pesky bushes to man-eating creatures, you’ll face all kinds of obstacles in Slash Quest. You can also dive into some juicy side-quests and hoard over 20 cosmetic items.
