[Updated] Slitherine to bring the Frontline franchise to Android by year’s end

Slitherine has seen some pretty good success on Android so far, especially with the release of Small General, Qvadriga, and the game they are most known for on Android which is Great Battles Medieval THD. The company has also seen quite a lot of success on iOS with their Frontline franchise since last year and now Android gamers can expect to get their hands on this franchise soon.

Update:  December 10th, 2014 9:22am PST: Frontline: The Longest Day has been released onto Google Play today. You can pick up a copy on Google Play for $2.99 through the link at the bottom of the article.

The Frontline franchise is a World War II themed strategy series of games. So far one game, called Frontline: Road To Moscow, has been released onto iOS and a second title, called Frontline: The Longest Day, will be arriving shortly. During an interview with Iain McNeil, development director, and Marco Minoli, marketing director of Slitherine, they announced that the franchise will be heading to Android as well. Unfortunately it wasn’t stated as to whether or not it would be both games being released or just one of them.

We already have a quite an extensive catalog on Android, although the market is much smaller in size. Qvadriga and Great Battles Medieval are by far the best sellers there, but also the Small General series, from VR Designs, has been extremely popular. We are also planning to release Frontline on both the Google Play Store and the Amazon store before the end of the year.

As of right now there is no official release date or pricing revealed, only that the Frontline franchise should be available before the end of 2014.
