Snail Games releases the new Overlord update for Taichi Panda

The other day we posted about a new content update heading to Taichi Panda soon called Overlord. Snail Games had only just started teasing what would be coming with this update, showing off only two pets and nothing else at the time. Apparently development and testing went super well though as the Overlord update is now live and available for download.

So what all comes with the Overlord update besides the two new pets? Well there is actually quite a lot of cool new features. Firstly, there is a whole new combat system that deals with battling while on a mount. There are specific mounts for this though, three in total, so it won’t work with every mount in the game. Speaking of mount combat, there is a new cross-server Guild battle called Warpath, featuring 25 vs 25 combat while on your mount.

As with the past content updates for Taichi Panda, this one also increases the level cap (now level 100) available in the game. This means that gear, items, pet levels, and so on have all been increased to match, and new levels to play through. There is also new gear and items now available to the new available levels. Mega Boss has also been updated with three additional new bosses added to it. Lastly, Overlord also introduces new team instances to get some of this new loot from. Tier 6 Ascension is now available as is Tier 36 Discovery.

Admittedly, the new mounts that fall into the mounted combat system actually look pretty cool. One looks like a Kodo from World of Warcraft but on steroids. For the new Guild battle, there are a few requirements that need to be met in order to participate. Guilds that can participate must have a Guild Rank of Elite or higher. Players who want to participate also need to be at least level 55 in order to be granted access to Warpath.

Lastly, there is an entry fee of three Royal Tickets that needs to be paid. If you do not have any Royal Tickets, or are missing one, you can grab Royal Tickets for 300 diamonds per ticket. In other words, make sure you save your Royal Tickets you find so you can participate.

There are a few other smaller tweaks that have arrived to Taichi Panda with the launch of Overlord. Storage Slots have been increased to 200, Top-up Two for One Reset in the Diamond Store is now available, and guilds can now occupy the Relic for six days in Relic Rumble. This update is now live and available for download off of Google Play and Amazon’s Appstore.
