[Updated] Square Enix’s Secret of Mana RPG will be heading to Android this Fall

While already on iOS devices, Square Enix is gearing up to release their retro RPG Secret of Mana onto Android sometime this Fall. This will be the second in that particular franchise to be announced, with the other game being Rise of Mana.

Update November 3rd, 2014 8:33am PST: Secret of Mana is now available on Google Play. You can pick up a copy through the link below for an even $9.00

It is nice of Square Enix to finally bring Secret of Mana to Android since it’s only been out on iOS for roughly four years. Like most of their other retro ports, Secret of Mana for Android will be the full version of the original game that was released way back in the day for the SNES, it will just have mobile-based controls.

As for when this game will actually get released, there is just a general Fall 2014 time frame. Rise of Mana is still a Japan-only title as of right now. If the Android version follows the iOS pricing, Secret of Mana will cost around $5.99 when it is released.
