Star Wars: KOTOR II has landed on the Google Play Store.
Originally released in 2004, Star Wars: KOTOR II is the sequel to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, a sprawling RPG set in the Star Wars universe several thousand years before the events of the movies.
The game’s full name is Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic: The Sith Lords, and it was well received at launch. It sees you creating a character and exploring the iconic Star Wars universe, racing on bikes that can hover, playing weird card games, and getting into light saber duels.
That account barely scratches the surface, of course. KOTOR II is a huge, rich, award-winning RPG and a bonafide classic of the genre. Like Empire Strikes Back, it depicts a desperate struggle by a diminished Jedi Order against the rampant Sith Lords, which is a perfect backdrop for some RPG hijinks.
Its predecessor is a hit on mobile, too, so you can probably download this latest instalment with confidence.
