SYBO and Miniclip are bringing their most popular mobile titles together for the first time. It’s a crossover between Subway Surfers and 8 Ball Pool that’s kicking off soon. The collaboration rolls out in stages, with events running separately inside each game.
When does the Subway Surfers x 8 Ball Pool crossover begin?
The crossover starts on August 18th and, depending on the game, runs through different end dates. In Subway Surfers, it’s an 8 Ball Pool City Tour event, active until September 3rd. The tour features six global destinations, including Sydney, Tokyo, and Las Vegas.
You’ll collect 8 Ball tokens to move through each city. Unlockable rewards include the new 8 Ball Jake character, a black leather jacket, and the 8 Ball Board hoverboard. Haven’t played Subway Surfers in a long time? Maybe now’s the time to! Head over to the Google Play Store and get it.
Over in 8 Ball Pool, things kick off later, from August 27th to September 17th. You’ll compete on a special Subway Surfers Pool Table featuring physics designed to mimic the movement and style of Subway Surfers.
The season includes pool events related to the same six destinations from the Subway Surfers tour, alongside several limited-edition quests. One challenge tasks you with collecting letters to spell Subway Surfers, unlocking prizes such as a Jake avatar and a Guard cue. Check out 8 Ball Pool on the Google Play Store.

Although it seems like an unlikely match, the reality is that SYBO joined the Miniclip family in 2022. But it marks the first time these two major names are officially collaborating. It will be an interesting crossover and surely bring back players to both games just to try out the crossover events.
