Two major mobile game studios are joining hands. It’s SYBO and Supercell who are collaborating through their respective games Subway Surfers and Brawl Stars. It’s the first time they’re collaborating, and that too, for a dual-game crossover.
How long does the Subway Surfers and Brawl Stars collab run?
The collaboration runs from September 4th through October 5th. Each game is bringing new modes and challenges that mirror the other game.
Inside Subway Surfers, the Crew is welcoming six faces from the Brawl Stars lineup. They are El Primo, Piper, Max, Dynamike, Poco, and Spike. Alongside them comes a Brawl Stars-inspired setting that swaps the usual cityscape for deserts and crystal mines.
This update also brings the first competitive multiplayer game mode in Subway Surfers’ 13-year history, called Showdown. It lets up to six players race to the finish line, using exclusive rewards and Brawler Power-Ups.
You can advance through the Leagues to unlock El Primo and Piper Portraits. You’ll also find Piper herself at the end of the Diamond League. Watch the event trailer that SYBO dropped, and grab the game from the Google Play Store.
Meanwhile, Brawl Stars is dropping a new Subway Surfers-themed season
It has the new Subway Run mode, which drops ten players into a free-for-all race. You must sprint through checkpoints, collect coins, and dodge hazards to be the first across the finish line. The guard from Subway Surfers even makes an appearance to block racers.
The mode changes cities weekly. You get New York in week one, Berlin in week two, Rio in week three, and Tokyo in week four. On that note, watch the collab trailer by Supercell below.
Brawl Stars is also introducing eight special power-ups inspired by Subway Surfers, called Subway Supers. These include Super Sneakers, Brawler Magnet, Hoverboard Charge, and Jetpack. Check out the collab by grabbing the game from the Google Play Store.
