Com2suS has announced the next Summoners War: Chronicles collaboration event, featuring the hugely popular manga/anime One Punch Man.
The studio is set to release the event in two weeks, on April 27. However, at this point it’s still unclear how long it will run for.
Serious Series: Serious Collab
Com2suS released a preview on the Summoners War: Chronicles official YouTube channel. The trailer is only 30 seconds long, and doesn’t really tell us much about what to expect. However, we managed to make out a few familiar faces…
One Punch Man is confirmed (although it would be strange if he didn’t make an appearance), as he can be seen powering up in the preview. Fubuki and Genos, along with a few others, are also seen charging up a few power moves.
The end of the trailer reveals the official tag line for the collaboration, which reads “Serious Series: Serious Collab”.
The official Summoners War: Chronicles Twitter page has also revealed a little bit more about the event. In a Tweet further promoting the collaboration, the account states “The Elite appearing in One-Punch Man will appear as Monsters!”
It’s certainly interesting to see how the world of One Punch Man will morph it’s way into the game, but for now, we must wait for April 27…
Summoners War: Chronicles
Summoners War: Chronicles is a direct follow up to it’s predecessor, Summoners War: Sky Arena. The game allows you to choose from a small selection of characters to play through the campaign, which picks up where the previous game left off. The story itself focuses on fighting off the darkness that has leaked through the Rift of Worlds.
