Way back in September 2011 we wrote about a rather cool looking retro-style action platformer called Super Bit Dash from Fakepup. Well after a rather long wait the game has finally made the journey from development to release and is now available on the Android Market.
Super Bit Dash isn’t just a running game where you dodge enemies and get to the end of the stage. It would be an endless runner game but the stages actually end. The interesting thing though is that each stage is randomly piece together from a selection of smaller levels so every time you play the game it will be different.

Not just a running game, Super Bit Dash will have you swiping and tapping your screen which will control different actions your character can do whether it is ducking, jumping, using your little force field shield, smashing bricks and collecting coins in similar style to Mario Bros of old. There are also characters and power-ups you can unlock as you play through the game over and over trying to get a better score each time.
Retro game fans will probably really dig this game not just for the 8-bit inspired graphics but for the similar mechanics found within the game that seem influenced by other titles like the aforementioned Mario Bros. game.
