Coming soon to Android, KIDU: A Relentless Quest is a unique platformer that stresses the importance of how the player views the level. In this game, players will assume the role of a young boy named Chak, who is dissatisfied with life. He ends up spotting the girl of his dreams, and follows her in to an adventure.
Released by All Nighter Games, Doodle Wars is a new side scrolling shooter for Android. In this game, players will assume a Doodle, with some customiztion options availble (gender, hat, etc), in the hopes of ending the reign of King Smudgie; beyond this though, there isn’t much for a story. Players will guide their Doodle left or right, and try to kill off all enemies that are encountered.
Indie developer REDEgg has released their first game for Android called Rogue Castle. This game is sort of a mix between dungeon crawler and platformer, along with roguelike content and an overall retro feel to the visual. In other words, if you’re a old school game fan, you’ll probably want to check this one out.
Good platformers are far and few between these days, especially on mobile devices. Untame Games, however, have their anti-platformer title Mushroom II in the works and now the game has a solid release date, with that being March 9th, 2017.
Alto’s Adventure was a gargantuan hit on mobile devices. I am sure many of you probably still have the game on your device. The game balanced aesthetic beauty, fun and challenges with ease. While there isn’t a whole lot special with this upcoming weekend, there seems to be a lot of games on sale right now, with a lot of the titles being discounted are more along the lines of being franchises, such as a number of LEGO games or Bridge Constructor titles.
