Developed by indie studio Ludibrium Interactive, Super Milo Adventures: Pixels (also known as Super Milo Adventures: Retro) is out on Android. With a heavy dose of retro charm and small, thoughtful details, it’s a simple platformer.

The game layers in fishing, home decoration, exploration, and even character customisation. The hook here is the smart jump-and-hop system.
You interact with the environment by swiping and tapping. The interaction style stands out as there are no on-screen buttons. Perfect for small screens with no extra distractions.
You’ll be controlling Milo’s movement in the game. His moves become an extension of how you solve problems in the world, not just how fast you can reach the other side of the screen.
The devs have actually blended a few genres together for the game. In between the various adventure levels, you get other stuff, too.
For instance, you can fish for fantasy-style creatures, decorate spaces, and collect outfits. Each of the activities feeds back into the experience, rather than feeling like separate side content.
There are also secrets hidden in every level. You might find alternate paths, coins, mini-missions and more. Just keep an eye out.

The art is pure 90s pixel style, while the sound design deserves a nod, too. Each world has its own music and audio effects, shifting styles to match the environment.
