Talking Tom Cat is turning 15 this year, so Outfit7 has given it a complete remaster. The 2025 update brings polished visuals, smoother animations, and new, quirky interactions that made the original a global phenomenon.
The biggest change is Tom himself!
He’s been redesigned as part of Outfit7’s wider refresh of the Talking Tom & Friends brand, and the difference shows. His movements are sharper, and so are his smirks and eyebrow flicks. Even the smallest details in his reactions make him feel much more alive.
While poking, scratching, and Tom’s infamous fart gags remain, but now they’ve been upgraded with new additions. The street corner backdrop looks brighter and more detailed. Meanwhile, Tom’s eating habits have been taken up a notch with unpredictable stuff like spaghetti twirls and cotton candy meltdowns.
The voice modulators also have been enhanced through warping whatever you make him repeat. The ability to record and share these antics directly to social media is also a huge plus. But no matter what, Tom is still unbothered and chaotic as before, so his personality is the same.

Since his first appearance, he’s crossed into meme culture, children’s entertainment, and mobile gaming history. It has got over 1.5 billion downloads worldwide and more than 260 billion pokes from players. 15 years later, he’s still around, still sparking laughter.
