Summer has officially landed in The Sims! The new Make a Splash update marks the beginning of a wider Summer Vacation Series in The Sims Freeplay. With the first chapter now live, the theme this time is to celebrate everything summer has to offer.

From street parties and sun-drenched pool days to backyard BBQs!

Things kick off in The Sims Freeplay with Make a Splash, taking you through vacation escapes. Rocky Heights has expanded, too. Players who have already completed Rustic Acres can now access Breezy Fields. It’s a second neighbourhood inspired by Dutch flower fields and open landscapes.

Breezy Fields comes with four new house lots, a landmark, and a slew of rewards, including a tractor decor item. The road might need a little fixing up before you can drive in, though.

SimTown is also embracing Pride 2025 with celebration. Throughout the update, you’ll receive two free inbox gifts, one early in the month and another later on. Rainbow crosswalks are now lighting up the SimTown map. And a new Craft Challenge event is rallying residents to help create vibrant decorations for the big party.

Check Out the Tons of Events!

First up, the Influence Island: Currency Heist event tasks you with catching a group of burglars who’ve been sneaking funds from local businesses. The reward is a whopping one million Simoleons, along with some Life Points and Social Points.

The Craft Challenge – SimTown Pride Party event is another big one. You’ll help bring the Pride celebration to life by crafting joyful, colourful displays.

The next event, Influence Island – Pool’s Out For Summer?!, adds a bit of tension. Nancy Landgraab is plotting to demolish the town’s beloved local pool and replace it with a twelve-story car park. It’s up to a team of wealthy investors, conveniently lounging on a nearby beach, to swoop in and save the day.

There are more events happening right now. If you want to Make a Splash in The Sims Freeplay, get the game from the Google Play Store.
