So the Quality Index website that now rates Android games has been going strong for awhile now and they have just released the Top 10 games for Android according to their rating system. This system takes a few factors into account and just not the fact that game is a best-seller. For June 2012 you might be surprised at who is in the #1 spot.
So who managed to snag the top spot on the Quality Index in June 2012? Surprisingly it was Noodlecake’s release of Continuity 2 for their Game-A-Week project. Here is the full Top 10 list:
1) Continuity 2 by Noodlecake – 9.5
2) Pocket Clothier by Kairosoft – 9.1
3) Elastic World by Monkey I-brow Studios – 8.9
4) Monsters Ate My Condo by Adult Swim Games – 8.9
5) N.O.V.A 3 by Gameloft – 8.7
6) Oscure by MTV Networks – 8.6
7) Busted! by Metalwarp games – 8.5
8) 100 Floors by Tobi Apps – 8.4
9) Pro Zombie Soccer by Super Awesome Hyper Dimensional Mega Team (such an awesome name) – 8.3
10) Zombie Ace by Hothead Games – 8.2
Actually they entire list is somewhat surprising. With all of the great games released by both big and small studios, it is good to see that a majority of the spots are filled with indie developers or small development companies. It is also interesting to see we have posted about most of these games. Glad to see we know what we are talking about!
