Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales Is Coming to Android on June 17th, Pre-Register Now

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, the standalone single-player spinoff of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, is coming to the Google Play Store on the 17th of June.

Originally released on PC and consoles in 2018, Thronebreaker sees you playing as Queen Meve of Lyria and Rivia – Rivia, of course, being the ancestral home of Geralt.

It’s set before the Witcher games, and places you at the vanguard of a rebel alliance aimed at taking back the north from the its occupiers. It lets you explore regions of the Witcher world you’ve never encountered before, including Rivia, Lyria, Angren, Mahakam, and Lower Aedirn.

Thronebreaker won all sorts of awards when it first came out, thanks to its sophisticated system of alliances, its slick, engrossing presentation, and its clever twists on Gwent’s card-battling gameplay.

You’ll be able to play Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales on your Android phone in about a month, with the first few hours costing you nothing. In the meantime, head to the Google Play Store to pre-register.
