Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter is a new roguelike card battler that has dropped on Android globally. It’s designed by Kazuma Kaneko, who is known for his surreal world-building and iconic demonic designs in the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series.
This new roguelike card battler mixes dungeon crawling with a personal AI-driven system. The Japanese game studio COLOPL has developed the game. Kaneko joined the studio in 2023 and has led this game, which builds on his style.
Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter Has Trained Personal AI Models
In the game, an artificial deity watches you play and reacts to your decisions with custom-made cards. The team created a proprietary model called AI Kaneko, trained personally by Kaneko himself. It powers what the game calls the Okami System.
The system spawns a false god named Okami who observes your gameplay and decisions during dungeon exploration. Based on your behaviour, Okami generates entirely new cards in real time, which reflect your style.
Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter is set in a high-rise called The Hashira, right in Tokyo’s bayside area. Once a cutting-edge complex, it’s now sealed off and crawling with monsters.
Your mission is to reach the top of the tower and take out Noriko Tomi, the president of the construction company behind The Hashira. She’s the target of Tsukuyomi, an elite national defense unit, because she’s trying to overthrow the state using jujutsu traps hidden in the building.

Grab the Two New Characters
They’re Izayoi Tsukuyomi and Shingetsu Tsukuyomi. Izayoi uses a standard approach, boosting attack and defense through upgraded cards. Some of the Jinma cards you can find while playing as Izayoi include Seiryu, Finn MacCool, Mormo, and Watanabe Tsuna.
Shingetsu, on the other hand, goes for chain attacks, stacking moves for more complex strategies. Shingetsu’s Jinma cards include Mach, Kirin, Kato Danzou, and Suzuka Gozen. Two more characters, Mangetsu and Hangetsu, will join the lineup later through updates.
