Two new Tegra 4 optimized games will be arriving soon: Blood Sword and Chuck’s Challenge

With Shield’s launch arriving tomorrow, there are plenty of titles already optimized for the device. However it looks like two more games will be making an appearance either at some point today or tomorrow. One of these games was actually shown off briefly during CES 2013 when Nvidia was showing off Shield for the first time.

When Nvidia was showing off their new Shield device at CES 2013 during a special event, one of the games that happened to be demoed was called Blood Sword: Sword Of Ruin THD. Well apparently that game will be arriving at some point either today or tomorrow, just in time for Shield’s official launch. Blood Sword looks to be a dungeon crawling type of game, a lot like an Action-RPG. Unfortunately we don’t know a whole lot of details about this game but that should be changing real quick.

The other title is one we haven’t really heard much of up until now called Chuck’s Challenge 3D. This is a maze/puzzle style of game which is already out for iOS but this version is actually going to be a lot different than the iOS one. This version will be released onto PC and Mac along with Shield and will feature completely revamped 3D visuals. Each stage you’ll have to figure out how to solve in order to get your character to the exit.

You can check out Blood Sword: Sword of Ruin in the video above to see some of the gameplay from back during CES 2013. If you’re interested in seeing Chuck’s Challenge 3D, you can see that game in action in the video below. Both games are slated to be released any day now and could very easily end up on Google Play today. When either game is released, we will post an update.
