The English release of Umamusume: Pretty Derby is finally happening as the pre-registration just opened up. Cygames is officially bringing the horse girl racing sim out of Japan for players worldwide.

Umamusume: Pretty Derby Has Tons of Pre-Registration Rewards

If you pre-register now, you’ll get a bunch of in-game goodies once it launches. There are 3,750 carats, 100,000 monies, 50,000 support points, 45 alarm clocks, 45 toughness 30s, and 30 goddess statues. Yeah, that’s a lot of stuff!

You can pre-register now on the official site or the Google Play Store. Meanwhile, the official English Umamusume: Pretty Derby X account is also running a pre-registration-special giveaway from April 28th to May 11th, 2025.

The top prize is a round-trip plane ticket to Japan. There are also ten $50 Amazon gift cards on the table. Take a look at the game right here.

More About the Game

Pretty Derby is part of the Umamusume Project, which kicked off in Japan back in 2016. It’s a whole franchise with anime, manga, music, and more. The stars are girls inspired by real-world racehorses.

The game lets you take the role of a trainer. It’s a sports sim blended with idol life and an emotional storyline. You scout different trainees and support characters.

Then, you train them through a detailed system, where building up their stats and syncing with their personalities is the goal. The ultimate goal, however, is winning the Twinkle Series.

The races let up to 18 Umamusume go head-to-head in a single run. There’s live commentary, crowd energy, and after the race, the winning girl even hits the stage for a concert.

It’s going to be a fun game, I feel. If it sounds interesting to you too, check out Umamusume: Pretty Derby on the Google Play Store.
