Umamusume: Pretty Derby officially launched today. So, you’ll be diving into a world where horse girls with legendary names race, perform, and chase their dreams. Cygames and DMM Games have developed this one together.
Umamusume: Pretty Derby Is a Sports-Life Simulator
The game has a training system. You play as a Trainer, guiding each girl to unlock her potential through races, support, and skill development.
There’s a Career Mode, where you focus on one trainee and choose two legacy Umamusume for inspiration. These legacies pass down Sparks, like special boosts associated with aptitudes, stats, and skills.
You’ll pick six support cards that influence how your trainee grows by affecting stat bonuses, events, and skill availability. Ultimately, you need to help your Umamusume to win races and shine in post-race performances, which are full 3D concerts.
The Races Are a Spectacle!
Up to 18 Umamusume sprint across the track with commentary that adds a live-sports feel. Every victory ends with a celebratory stage show. It’s a cycle where you train, race, win, and perform.
For more competition, you can dive into Team Trials. It’s a PvP mode that pits teams of 15 Umamusume against others. The races have different categories based on distance and surface. Sprint, Mile, Medium, and Long are all turf-based, while Dirt races always run one mile on a dirt track.
Umamusume: Pretty Derby is having a launch celebration. Logging in now gets you special in-game rewards, including carats and a Trainee Umamusume Scout Ticket. Also, T.M. Opera O is currently featured in a rate-up scout.
