Valve’s Steam goes mobile, lets you download games while on the go

Valve seems to continue their push to being a bit more mobile centric. While news is floating around about Valve getting into the mobile hardware game, their Steam service has gotten a bit more mobile friendly thanks to some new improvements.

We already have the official Steam application for Android available to us but now the actual Steam service itself is going a bit mobile. You will now be able to access Steam right from your Android device, purchase games and start the download of your purchased game while on the go.

This does have one catch though and that is your PC obviously has to be on and Steam has to be open on it. Other than that, all you need to do is go to the Steam website on your Android device and pick the game you want, pay for it and begin downloading it while you are out shopping, at work or where ever else you may suddenly feel the urge to spend money on video games.
