Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus, the Acclaimed PC and Console Strategy Game, is Heading for Mobile in April

Kasedo Games’s excellent Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus, which is currently available on PC and consoles, will be available on mobile this April courtest of Kalypso Media.

The game takes a turn-based XCOM-esque approach to the franchise and is steeped in Warhammer lore. It’s one of the best Warhammer games available on any platform.

Gameplay-wise, it sees you playing as Tech-priest Dominus Foustinius as you lead the Adeptus Mechanicus on an epic quest across the planet Silva Tenebris to salvage ancient technology.

The story was created by Ben Counter, the author of Black Library.

The mobile version of the game will feature touchscreen-optimized controls, but that’s where the mobile concessions end. There will be support for physical controllers too, and Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus will be a premium release, costing $11.99. For that you’ll also get the Heretik DLC.

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus will be available on April the 22nd.
