Marvel Realm of Champions, Kabam’s 3v3 MOBA based in the Marvel universe, is now available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store.
The game takes place in Battleworld, a realm created by Maestro, an evil version of the Hulk from an alternate future. Battleworld is a mashup of different realities, containing gods and warriors, and has descended into disarray following the death of Maestro.
That’s the backstory. In practical terms, Battleworld is just a badass backdrop against which to send teams of three into battle with other players, attempting to take down their Baron. You can enhance your Champion, add various weapons and gear items, and more. Basically, all the stuff you can do in Vainglory.
Being a Marvel game, Realm of Champions features a number of familiar faces, including Hulk, Black Panther, Spider-Man, Thor, Iron Man, and so on. Each of these characters has their own powers and abilities.
There are various different modes of offer, such as Stronghold and Arena Conquest. It looks like a fun, colorful take on the MOBA genre.
