For those of you who backed the Kickstarter campaign for the upcoming Android-powered gaming console OUYA, the company is planning to host a party in San Francisco this upcoming March 28th, 2013 in order to say thank you as well as to celebrate the launch of the units for those of you who backed their Kickstarter.
A new application was released a few days ago that will offer up paid games for all you Android gamers out there but for free. Think of it as a “Free Game of the Day” type of service although the offers last a few days instead of just one. It seems the company behind the app, OnaDevice, has made some deals with some pretty big publishers as well because these are not just no-name titles they are offering up for free.
There really is no shortage of match-3 puzzle games on Android these days, or for any platform for that matter, but developers Itzy Interactive have brought something a little new to the table with their new game called Vex Blocks. So what makes this a bit different than others in the match-3 genre?
It looks like Dungeon Hunter 4 is on the horizon as Gameloft has begun teasing the next installment into the dungeon crawling Action-RPG franchise on Twitter. While details are pretty scarce right now as to what this new Dungeon Hunter game will come with, we did get a few tidbits of information.

Not too long ago Trendy Entertainment took down Dungeon Defenders off of the Google Play store. This included both first and second wave versions of the game. Over on the forums, Trendy Entertainment said it didn’t look like the games would ever be coming back to Android which made a lot of people have sad faces. However, new evidence could be pointing to Dungeon Defenders: Second Wave coming back from the dead soon.
I find the news of High Voltage’s award-winning Wii shooter, The Conduit, coming to the Tegra Zone to be concerning. For a few reasons, actually. Porting Wii games to mobile devices isn’t anything new, but it’s a little worrying in the Conduit’s case.
A couple of notable games which we have talked about in the past have changed their location on the Google Play store. Machinarium and Attack of the Wasabi Pee Invaders now have new locations with Machinarium now being under a new developer and not under Hothead Games as well.
It’s Friday and keeping with the tradition Nvidia seems to have started, the company has released another video which this time showcases Riptide GP 2 running on their upcoming Android-powered handheld gaming system Project Shield. This also affords us a first glance at the water racing sequel heading our way from Vector Unit.
An interesting new physics-based puzzle game will be heading our way soon called Master of Alchemy Vengeance Front by DarkWave Games. This particular title is the newest addition to the Master of Alchemy franchise and brings with it some of the old gameplay mechanics along with some new ones that players will have to use properly if they want to get through the game.
