About a week ago we did a bit of an in-depth preview for Spicy Horse’s newest game called Crazy Fairies. This new game is a turn-based shooter that take influences from the Worms series where two or more players go head-to-head and battle it out until one person or team dies. Well for those of you who have been interested in this game since we talked about it last week, you can now grab it off of the Google Play store.
Some of you may have heard of Hamilton’s Great Adventures before. It made its debut on PSN and Steam over a year ago. Now, the developers have brought this explorer-cum-puzzler to Android exclusively via the Tegra 3 platform. It is basically the same game as the console and PC version both in terms of content and graphics.
Gameloft has released a new game onto Android today that is somewhat of a random release considering there hasn’t really been any early promotion for the game from Gameloft at all. This particular game, called World at Arms, is a new strategy/sim title which comes with some interesting features you don’t usually find in a game like this. It also has some pretty nice visual eye candy as well which doesn’t hurt to have.
Gameloft is making sure to keep their upcoming addition to their Modern Combat series of games in the back of everyone’s mind for when it is actually released. One way they are doing this is by releasing a variety of videos, including a Development Diary series, showcasing different features that will be arriving with Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour. Their latest one, which they released a few days ago, showcases the multiplayer gameplay that will be coming with the game.
Amazon finally began expanding the reach of their AppStore back in August of this year, opening it up to a few countries over in Europe. Now Amazon is expanding even more but instead of it being to a few different countries in an area, it is only one country this time – Japan. That means if you’re a developer you can now submit your apps to be available for residents in Japan.
Rovio has announced via their Twitter account that Angry Birds Star Wars will be getting a new content update on November 29th, 2012 (tomorrow). This update will feature the Planet Hoth and to tease ever Angry Birds Star Wars fan out there, Rovio has released a promotion trailer about the update, adding yet another video to the library of promotional videos already available for this game.
11 Bit Studios are responsible for one of the more better tower offense games on Android called Anomaly Warzone: Earth. Back in August of this year the company announced that it would be making a sequel to Anomaly Warzone: Earth which would be called Anomaly Korea and would come with a host of new features.
The Avengers are a pretty potent band of superheroes. Seeing that the comics and movies involving the Avengers have got a pretty huge fanbase, Marvel has moved into creating an episodic mobile game as well. The first in this series of games puts you in the somewhat large shoes of The Hulk. A new RTS game has landed on Android called OutFight. Developed by AMT Games, OutFight has you controlling one army of green-skinned goblin-like creatures and battling it out with other armies of green-skinned goblin-like creatures, which ends up being a whole lot of green-skinned goblin-like creatures. Thankfully they wear different colored shirts.
AMA Ltd has released a new game onto Android called Stars vs Paparazzi: Jet Set Edition which is basically quite a lot like Plants vs Zombies. It’s a strategy game where you play as the Stars who are trying to fend of the Paparazzi in order to keep their fast and famous lifestyle under wraps and not in the public eye.
