It’s Friday which means it is time for another Android game sale round-up, but because this is the start to a long weekend here in the USA, this also means that there are a lot more games on sale than normal. Nvidia currently has their sale going on with five different racing games being discounted, but they also have a few other titles on sale such as Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Help defend Earth from an alien invasion in Independence Day Resurgence: Battle Heroes, now in open beta
As is often the case these days, movies get apps/games that tie in to said movie, and in this case the movie and tie-in are for the new Independence Day that’s set to drop next month. In this game, players are looking to fend off an alien invasion of the planet Earth, and will do this by assembling and leading the best ESD squadron possible.
Panteon are the developers behind the multiplayer Action-RPG called Legendary Team, and they have pushed out an update today for their game that pretty much overhauls a lot of the gameplay that was originally found. According to the developers, all of the changes in this update are based off of user feedback.
In other pre-registration news, Snail Games has also announced today that pre-registration for their next upcoming MMORPG have gone live as well. The company’s new game is called Kingdom Warriors and looks to be an action-based MMORPG with an ancient Asian mythological theme to it.
Pre-registration is now live for the upcoming MMORPG MU: Origin. Full launch happening in June.
Webzen’s upcoming MMORPG for mobile devices, called MU: Origin, has officially opened up pre-registration for interested players to take advantage of by signing up ahead of the game’s launch. Doing so will net you a few in-game rewards once this game globally launches onto Android in the very near future.
Wreak havoc in a space colony in the newest Goat Simulator: Waste of Space, now out on Google Play
Released by Coffee Stain Studios, Goat Simulator: Waste of Space is the newest entry into the Goat Simulator franchise. And similar to the other entries in this line of games, players will again be assuming the role of a meddlesome goat, only this time the setting is that of a space colony.
So far we have had a pretty good look at Niantic Labs upcoming Pokemon GO game and what will all be arriving with it. For the past few weeks, there has been a bit of a closed beta/field test going on over in Australia and a couple other locations. Today begins the US version of the beta testing and Niantic Labs has gone ahead and revealed more details about the combat mechanics to come with Pokemon GO.
Skylanders jumps into the world of TCG titles with the global release of Skylanders Battlecast for mobile
The Skylanders franchise has gotten a new game added to its catalog today called Skylanders Battlecast. This particular game has been in a region-specific soft launch for a bit now, but today is the game’s global launch. The interesting part about this game is that it follows the Skylanders tradition of having a physical product that players can purchase in stores. So, just like with the Skylanders figurines that you can scan into your games, Skylanders Battlecast physical cards can be purchased and scanned into this game as well.
Deep Silver Fishlabs releases a new trailer for Galaxy on Fire 3, this time in 360 degree viewing
Yesterday Deep Silver Fishlabs revealed their upcoming Sacred Legends mobile game heading our way in the near future. However one game a lot of people are waiting for that has already been announced is Galaxy on Fire 3 – Manticore which is slated for release onto mobile devices this Summer.
Capcom’s Resident Evil 5 is now available to download on Google Play exclusively for Nvidia Shield Android TV. In Resident Evil 5, returning hero Chris Redfield—star of the both the first installment and Resident Evil Code Veronica—teams up with newcomer Sheva Alomar. Alomar works for the West African branch of Redfield’s new employers, the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance. Redfield may know the enemy, but it’s Sheva who knows the terrain. While Resident Evil 5 on consoles and PC featured two-player co-op, the game has been redesigned to work on Shield Android TV as a single-player experience.
