A little over a week ago a new game landed on the Android Market by Catfishblues Games, developed of the rather popular Hyperlight game. This particular game is called Tiny Comet and has you playing as a little lost comet who got separated from his family when he got too close to the Earth’s gravitational pull.
A few months ago we talked about five games that Big Blue Bubble, developers of Burn the Rope, were planning on releasing onto Android. So far four of the five have been released and today marks the fifth one to grace the market called Hamster Cannon.
Triolith Entertainment developed one of our past Hidden Gem games called Wisp and now they look to be gearing up to release a new game called Megatroid. Before they do that though that want to host a web-based open beta where anyone can participate to help test out the core game mechanics.

Mortal Skies was one of the better, if not one of the top, 1942 style top-down shooter games available for Android. The graphics were crisp and the gameplay was tight and frantic as it should be. Now developer Erwin Jansen has released a sequel to that game called Mortal Skies 2.

Sega has announced that they will be debuting / showing off their upcoming Android title called Virtua Tennis Challenge. While this will be for all Android devices eventually, it looks like the launch will be an Xperia Play exclusive from the sounds of things.

Developers going by the name of IBF Programs have developed and released an Unofficial Steam app for Android users to toy around with. While this app does a fair amount, it obviously doesn’t do everything an official client would do. Still, it’s pretty slick and most Steam fans should enjoy this application.
