With the recent release of Civilization Revolution 2 having just came about, another new Civilization-style game has just been released called Civilization: Race of Nations. This particular Civilization-style game comes in the form of a turn-based board game instead of the usual RTS style that the actually franchise uses.
Roughly a week ago we reported on Civilization Revolution 2 coming to mobile soon thanks to 2K Games and Firaxis Games teaming up. While there wasn’t a ton of details released about what we can expect from this version of the game at that time, we now know a bit more of what to expect when it does get released.
Good news for all you sim / strategy game lovers out there. According to Develop, GREE has entered into a partnership with 2K Games to bring some of the classic Sid Meier games to mobile. By mobile they mean on the GREE social gaming platform which is available for Android and iOS.
So you’ve been wanting a good, detailed Civilization clone for awhile now but really, there isn’t any available on the market that can truly stand up against the PC game. Well there is the FreeCiv movement which is creating a free version of the game but not for Android. One developer has decided to change that.
