In other Gamevil news, the company has finally gotten one step closer to releasing their Afterpulse game onto Android with the game’s soft launch today. For those of you not familiar with this title, Afterpulse is a multiplayer 3rd-person shooter that was originally released onto iOS back in 2015.

Exiles of Emberbark is an upcoming ARPG that will hit Android devices early next year. In this game, great houses are vying for both power, as well as money. At one point in the past, the squabbling between houses escalated beyond open war, and caused The Collapse.
Gamevil has had their new Puzzle-RPG called Knight Slinger in a soft launch state for the past month or so, which we’ve been playing and is actually pretty decent. In this game you’ll be collecting heroes and forming a group of them, which you will constantly be improving, in order to get through the storyline.
Released by Jesse Makkonen, DISTRAINT: Pocket Pixel Horror is a side-scrolling adventure game that’s recently been ported over from PC. In this game, players will assume the role of Price, a young man who works for a corporation that is involved in renting out apartments, and Price’s job is to turn out the tenants that fall behind, despite the fact that they’re indigent.
Help your starship escape pursuing aliens in Battleship Lonewolf: Space TD, now out on Google Play
Released by tabasco games, Battleship Lonewolf: Space TD is an interesting strategy game, where players are tasked with helping to keep a fleeing battleship in tact. The backstory is predicated on power stones, which are resource endemic to outer space, with our solar system having already run out of them.
Stephen Folkes has released his debut game onto Android called Defend Your Turf. This little gem of a game combines mechanics that you used to find in old school beat em’ ups, with that of a more tactical style of gameplay, but somehow keeps a lot of the action found in the former style of gameplay. There’s also a staggering amount of nervous pigeons.
You’ve probably played Solitaire on just about every computer that you’ve ever used that wasn’t a Mac (unless you used iTunes) and not at work. Maybe you understood the game, maybe you didn’t, but you probably tried it at least once.
Originally released onto iOS and ending up pretty popular over there, Eden Games has brought their racing game Gear.Club over to Android. If you’re into racing games, Gear.Club is a more realistic type of game instead with fully customizable cars, which includes everything from engines to suspensions and more.
VaragtP Studios, developers of Tap Heroes and Loot Heroes, have released their third game onto Android called Plantera. Unlike the company’s other games, which are clicker/idler RPGs, this is an arcade-sim hybrid title where you’ll be trying to protect your garden from critters wanting to eat all your plants.
We’ve been following the development of the upcoming Torchlight Mobile game for awhile now, and it is an interesting, if not frustrating, game to watch being developed. Since it was announced back in the Summer of 2015, the development hasn’t had a lot of details released about it, except for at specific shows such as GDC or the Tokyo Game Show. Hell we still don’t even have a real release date for it.
