Snail Games isn’t just showing off two new Android phones at this year’s CES but they are also showing off their Android-based game console called the OBox. However this isn’t your typical small package Android console at all and, in fact, it is designed as a full-sized console which bares no resemblance to an Xbox at all… okay maybe a little bit.
For the past few years there has always been at least one attempt by some company to bring glasses-free 3D gaming to Android. When the concept originally came to light a few years ago, a few companies threw their hands into it with Android devices but almost all of them left everyone wanting and the glasses-free 3D part of it was lackluster at best. This year we have a new attempt to bring glasses-free 3D gaming to Android with a device called The W 3D.
LG held their morning CES 2015 press conference and admits plenty of TV and monitor announcements and home appliances, the company waited till the very end to announce what everyone pretty much knew was already coming – the LG G Flex 2. The announcement came in the style of the company wanting you to make love with the device with your face, or at least that is how it sounded during the announcement.
CES 2015 is already upon us and it feels like it came super quick this year. However fast it did come we are prepared for it and will be hitting the floor to gather all the Android news we can find. Whether it be new Android phones or tablets, gaming peripherals for mobile gamers to use, or anything else that might be of interest to the Android gamers out there, we will cover it here.
CES 2015 begins this week and as most of you know, yesterday and today happens to be press conference day, where all the major companies out there hold press conferences to announce their newest gadgets, phones, tablets, wearables, and so on. So far there have been a few events already and one of those was Nvidia’s Press Conference where the company announced their newest superchip for mobile devices called the Tegra X1.
Pretty much every major racing league has its own official game, whether that be Formula 1, NASCAR or others. There was one exception to that and it was the World Rally Championship which, up until now, didn’t have any sort of official game. That’s not to say there are not any rally racing games available for Android, there just wasn’t one for the WRC.

We missed last week’s installment of Fun Fridays due to the holidays but we won’t be missing it this week. If you are not familiar with this new series we recently started, this is basically a bit of a showcase of some of the more humorous, entertaining, or just plain cool things we’ve seen during the week that has happened in the video game industry. This isn’t just isolated to mobile gaming though.
The end of any year always comes up with plenty of compilation videos showing the “Best Of..” some topic for that particular year. The video game industry gets a lot of these videos published and a lot of them are actually pretty good to watch.
