Moving right along in our week of craziness while we countdown the last few days before Christmas, this is Day 2 and as with any new day, new things come your way. Today’s giveaway is a Samsung Galaxy 8.9″ 16GB dual-core Android tablet and to win it you barely have to do anything which is always nice isn’t it?
If you’re a pinball enthusiast then you may have heard of Zen studios. Creator of hit titles such as Marvel Pinball and Pinball FX, this indie developer knows their way around the digital table top. Having recently released their first Android title, Zen Pinball, we had a chance to speak with Mel Kirk, who gave us a rundown on their partnership with Marvel Comics, Android, and of course, pinball!
Fully titled Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Lands test, indie developers Red Wasp Design is planning to bring their new title over to multiple platforms in the near future including Android. As you may have guessed, this game is based off the works of H.P. Lovecraft’s series of novels from the 1920s.
One of the first RTS (real-time strategy) games to land on the Android Market to feature multiplayer was the Age of Conquest series by Noble Master Games. Well after what looks like a lot of hard work, Noble Master Games has released a new RTS game onto the market called Tropical Stormfront.
Samsung seems to be in the giving mood this holiday season as they are giving away free games to owners of Galaxy devices. This promotion, called the “Get Best Games for Free!” promo, is for all the Galaxy Android devices that Samsung has put out.
Zeptolab has released a new update for their hit physics-based puzzle game Cut The Rope. Dubbed the ‘Buzz Box’ update, it brings with it 25 new levels for you to enjoy in true Cut The Rope fashion. Of course you have to be able to access it first.
Infinite Dreams’ newest hit game, Jelly Defense, has just received an update for the holiday season. In this update to their rather unique tower defense game that features claymation style graphics, there is a lot of new content and features for you to play with while being lazy this Christmas.
Sony is beginning to roll out an update for their Sony S tablet which will bring native support for the Playstation controller. Already live out in Japan, the update will allow users to plug their Playstation controller into the Sony S Tablet via USB.
Another game a lot of people seem interested in and are looking forward to is the MMOFPS we have been reporting on called DaVinci THD which is being developed by Bridea Corp using Unreal Engine 3. This is a 3D MMOFPS game that also comes with PvE content for those people not interested in just slaughtering other players.
We just received our Tegra 3 Asus Transformer Prime unit and it came with a bunch of goodies loaded up on it for us to check out and bring a preview of to you, our readers. First up is one game that a lot of people are rather interested in which is Bladeslinger by Luma Arcade.
