Some interesting news today once again regarding Glu Mobile but this time it has nothing to do with zombies or shooting them in the face. This actually has to do with Glu decided to drop what must have been a decent chunk of change as they have just announced their acquisition of GameSpy from IGN.
So a recent article posted on a major gaming site states that due to the Wild West nature of the Android marketplace, the market has gone too far which is all due to the emulators available for your Android phone. While piracy is a major issue in all areas of gaming, not just mobile, the article goes a bit far with slandering the Android marketplace because emulators are allowed.
We here at DroidGamers have be proud to be at the forefront when it comes to all things relating to games and gaming on the Android platform. Along with a couple of other sites who cater to mobile gaming across all platforms, there hasn’t been much mainstream coverage of Android games or gaming for that matter. That seems to be changing though as IGN Wireless gets on board.
