WildTangent seems to be taking a bit of an aggressive approach to expanding their game rental service on Android. Not only is WildTanget launching in the UK today but it is also now available for all Android devices as well here in the US and is not exclusive to T-Mobile anymore. Also it will be coming pre-installed on the Sony S and Sony P tablets.

A new subscription-based service called Appscribe will be coming to Android this September. What Appscribe does is allow users to subscribe to their service which, according to them, will cost roughly around the same price as purchasing one game a month off the Android Market.
Last year when the App Inventor for Android came out, we were in the original beta and saw a few features that had yet been implemented. These features including transferring data to and from game servers and other similar features. We took an educated guess at this being a similar system like iOS has with their Game Center.
It is time to bring the joins of check-ins and badges to earn to Android games just like it is when you check-in with Foursquare or any other number of services that are similar. This time around though, thanks to HeyZap, you don’t actually have to go anywhere to check-in and earn badges, you just need to play Android games.
