NOX Audio invited us over to check out their working prototype of a headset they will be releasing in late 2011 called the Admiral Touch. This headset features a small 2.4″ LCD screen running the Android OS to take advantage of gesture-based controls and will have built-in WiFi for streaming audio as well.

NOX Audio has been making some of the better audio headsets for awhile now and this week at CES 2011 they are planning to unveil what is probably one of the more unusual technology mash-ups but yet very cool in its own right. The Admiral Touch is a new gaming headset that features a 2.4″ touchscreen which runs Android.
Only a couple of weeks ago, at the most, we saw OpenFeint release a flurry of games onto the Android Market as well as their OpenFeint Spotlight App. Promising up to 20 games to be released within a months time their first wave of games came out strong with titles like Fruit Ninja and MiniSquadron and today the second wave begins.
