Firedroid, developers of the rather successful Barrr game on Android, are currently developing a new puzzle game called Kings Can Fly. This new puzzle game involves airships and the use of wind to complete each stage, all rendered in 3D graphics.

Devolver Digital is currently developing a new interesting game called Dungeon Hearts. Teaming up with Cube Robot, Dungeon Hearts is an interesting blend of match-3 gameplay and RPG similar to in a few ways. It also happens to differ from similar games in a lot of ways as well.
Leviathan Games has announced a sequel to their classic castle defense game called Besieged 2 which is slated for release on iOS and Android this June. Once again you will be defending against undead minions of darkness and trying to preserve what is rightfully yours.

In this zombie game though, you are a zombie infecting America instead of being human and trying to survive.
Pairing up today’s earlier news of the GREE social gaming platform going worldwide in an open beta that has launched today, GREE has also partnered up with Mind Candy, developers of the Moshi Monsters game to start bringing those games to mobile devices worldwide.
The original Babel Rising game which was released on iOS and Android by White Bird Productions back in 2010 has been picked up by Ubisoft apparently who has been working on remaking the game. Called Babel Rising 3D, this remake of the original 2D game is slated for release next month on iOS and Android.
Noodlecake’s next game in their Game-A-Week project, or GAWP for short, is Tiki Lavalanche which we mention last week would be heading to the Google Play store this week. Well the official release date for Tiki Lavalanche is set for May 24th.

It’s official, Arcane Legends is Spacetime Studios next MMORPG for mobile, more details released
Yesterday we posted about Arcane Legends, Spacetime Studios trademark that they filed in April 2012 and was given the green light this month. As it turns out, Arcane Legends has been officially announced as Spacetime Studios’ next MMORPG for mobile devices and the studio has release more details about this new game.
Finland seems to be a hotspot lately for top-notch mobile games. They have Rovio, Remedy, and now Breach Entertainment is starting to invade the country’s spotlight thanks to their upcoming game for Android and iOS called Shardlands, a 3D adventure puzzle game.
Rovio seems to be wanting to re-enforce the point that even though they have a non-Angry Birds game called Amazing Alex heading out way, Angry Birds isn’t going away. At least that is what we are thinking is a large reason behind releasing a new Angry Birds game themed around their F1 sponsorship of Heikki Kovalainen and F1 racing.
