Not too long ago we talked about another retro-style RPG that would be landing on Android called Grinsia from developers Kemco Games. This game studios specializes in retro-style RPG titles that generally feature a lot of detail including little things like characters showing reactions to events in-game.
So we have been busy compiling a list of the best games to land on Android this year in various gaming genres such as RPG, FPS, RTS, Action, Puzzle and so on. The problem is there have been quite a few excellent games that have landed on our beloved OS that it is incredibly hard to pick one as Game of the Year.
Gameloft is never one to miss an opportunity to have a sale on their Android games so it really wasn’t a surprise when they sent us an email telling us of their upcoming sale where all their paid titles on the Android Market would be marked down to the low price of $0.99.
Lonely Sock might not be a name you are familiar with and probably for good reason, they are fairly new. However new they may be though I’m guessing we are going to see some pretty good titles coming out way from the Lonely Sock considering the team of eight is made up of industry veterans, mostly from Disney Mobile and EA.
Like the title of the article states, there is a new emulator which has landed on the Android Market at some point yesterday called NeoDroid by Cpasjuste which, if you can’t tell by the name, is a NeoGeo emulator based off of another emulator called GnGeo.
Gameshastra has released a game based of the hit Bollywood movie called Don 2. This particular game is about taking over the underworld over in Europe but to do that your character has to defeat all the current bosses of the underworld over there.
Well the Christmas Countdown Giveaways have ended but we thought we would team up with another site to do a little post-Christmas giveaway. One of our writers has launched his own site which will be a aggregator of reviews for Android games, apps and devices from other sites plus their own.
Those seeking quality gaming can look no further than Glu’s catalog of games. Action packed titles such as Gun Bros. and Star Blitz have kept gamers busy destroying waves of enemies. For those whose satisfaction comes from building instead of destroying, well Glu’s got you covered.
While the news of this game finally being released onto Android will make a lot of people happy at first, the news that Halfbrick has exclusively launched the Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots game on the Amazon App Store for Android may make the news a little less good for those of you outside of the US or do not have access to the Amazon App Store.
